About En-Stream

En-Stream is an industrial energy monitoring and management system made by UTF Labs, a technology company in Karachi, Pakistan. It connects the meters, PLCs, VFDs and generators a plant already has to one live view of energy use, costs and machine health. UTF Labs has built En-Stream since 2019, and installs and supports it across Pakistan.

Built by UTF Labs

UTF Labs (also written UTF-Labs), founded in 2017, designs IoT hardware, firmware and software in Karachi, Pakistan. En-Stream is UTF Labs' own product: our engineers design the gateways, write the firmware and build the platform, so one team answers for every part of the system. Why we built En-Stream

Most plants in Pakistan already have meters and controllers that record useful data, but nobody sees it until the electricity bill arrives. Load-shedding, generator backup, rooftop solar and changing tariffs make that blind spot expensive. We built En-Stream to read the equipment plants already own instead of replacing it, and to show grid, generator and solar on one screen, so managers can act on waste the same day.

Faisal leads UTF Labs and WebArtPros, steering En-Stream's vision to bring connected energy and machine monitoring to industry. A serial founder with a background in product development and business growth, he drives the company's work in energy management, smart factories and industrial IoT.

Syed Uzair Ali

Co-founder and CTO, UTF Labs

Uzair brings 19+ years of experience designing and shipping software across web, mobile, IoT and AI automation. He leads En-Stream's platform architecture, turning live device data into reliable dashboards, alerts and business-ready insights.

Muhammad Talha

Head of AI & IoT, UTF Labs

Talha has 10+ years in embedded systems and computer engineering across IoT, automotive, robotics and Industry 4.0, including work with the BMW Group and the German Research Center for AI (DFKI). As former CTO of Berlin-based Energy Labs, he used AI to cut building energy use and now leads En-Stream's AI and IoT direction.

Shan Ahmed Usmani

Engineering Lead, UTF Labs

Shan has 8+ years of experience in embedded firmware, PCB and circuit design, and IoT communication protocols such as MQTT, BLE and Wi-Fi. He builds the hardware and firmware that connect En-Stream gateways to meters, sensors and machines on the shop floor.

Hassan Khanani

Senior Embedded Systems Engineer, UTF Labs

Hassan is an electrical engineer with 5+ years developing firmware, hardware and cloud-connected IoT solutions for industrial applications. He focuses on embedded Linux, RTOS-based development and PCB design, making En-Stream devices reliable in the field.
