Cold Storage

Temperature, compressor and power monitoring for cold storage

Stored goods depend on refrigeration running and power staying on, day and night. En-Stream watches cold room temperatures, compressors and supply live, and alerts the right people the moment something goes wrong.

The problem

What puts stored goods at risk

  1. Warm-ups are noticed too late

A cold room that drifts above its limit overnight may only be found at the next manual check.

  2. Power cuts go unseen

When the grid fails and the generator doesn't take over, the first sign can be a warm room.

  3. Compressors wear out quietly

A compressor that runs longer and harder than it should costs energy long before it fails.

What to measure

Readings that matter in cold storage

En-Stream reads these from your meters and controllers, or from sensors and contacts wired to a gateway.

  • Cold room temperatures

From temperature transmitters on a gateway's analog inputs, with alarms on the limits you set.

  • Compressor health

Power and running status of each compressor, from its meter, drive or a gateway's digital inputs.

  • Power supply

Grid, generator and solar, live, with an alert the moment mains power is lost.

  • Door and alarm contacts

Door, fault and alarm signals on a gateway's digital inputs, turned into alerts.

  • Energy per room or site

Consumption from energy meters per cold room, plant room or site.

FAQ

Cold storage monitoring FAQ

Can En-Stream alert us if a cold room warms up?

Yes. Set alarm conditions on any reading, such as a temperature limit, and the right people are notified the moment it drifts.

Will we know when the power goes off?

Yes. En-Stream shows grid, generator and solar live, and an alarm on the supply readings notifies your team the moment a source drops out.

Can we watch several cold stores from one place?

Yes. Every site reports to the same platform, and remote access lets you open the dashboards from any device.

Do we need to stop operations to install it?

No. Gateways connect to the meters, drives and controllers you already have. Most sites take 1–3 days on site, and larger plants are installed in phases, so production never stops.
